About

A Brief History

Grace City Church began in September 1981 from a group of college students at Oregon State University, becoming an officially recognized church in January 1982. Since that time we have grown in numerous ways to be a part of the Corvallis community. We have had a long history of seeing God move in and through us, and we are committed to our mission of making disciples who love God, one another, and the world.

Although several men have faithfully served in the role as Lead Pastor over the years, Seth Trimmer was appointed to serve in this capacity in July of 2007.

There are 3 significant pieces of what we have been called to do in our history as a community: Church planting, campus ministry, and world missions. It is through these three outlets that Grace City has pursued expanding the Kingdom of God.

Here are some of the specific things we have been up to in the past several years:

  • Planted a sister church in 2001 in Seattle, Washington (Every Nation Church Seattle).
  • Sent and supported missionaries all over the world.
  • Continue to support and partner with Every Nation Campus Ministries for our local college campuses.
  • A detailed history is available during our Transformations Class or from our church office by request.

Grace City Church is a member of the Every Nation family of churches and ministries.
