The goal of Fall Welcome is all about relationships and church family.
This is not an educational seminar, conference, or small-group signup event. We want women to spend the evening around tables, sharing a meal, laughing, worshiping, hearing from one another, and forming relationships with women they might not otherwise meet.
And we hope those relationships do not end when the evening does!
One of the primary ways we continue building meaningful relationships at Grace City is through Ekklesias—which is what we call our small groups. These are the smaller communities where we share life, care for one another, grow as disciples of Jesus, and experience church family throughout the year. During Fall Welcome, you will hear a little about why Ekklesias matter and how you can take a next step if you are looking for deeper community. But the ultimate goal of the night is to help you connect and engage on whatever level you feel most comfortable.

The evening will move through several different experiences rather than one long program. And the majority of time will be spent with your assigned table group.
You can expect time to settle in and meet the women at your table, enjoy a full dinner together, participate in some fun Girls’ Night activities, worship, and hear stories and encouragement from women within Grace City.
We want the evening to feel relational, interactive, and relaxed.
-
Think relaxed, comfortable, and fun.
We are borrowing some of our favorite parts of a girls’ night in: comfy clothes, good food, fun drinks and desserts, laughter, conversation, and a few creative or fun things to do together.
You do not have to be crafty, love games, or be the most outgoing person in the room. Some women will jump right into an activity; others will be happiest just sitting around the table talking and enjoying dinner. Both are welcome!
Alongside the fun, we will also worship together and hear a word of encouragement. We want the evening to feel like a great night with friends while still creating space for meaningful connection with one another and with Jesus.
-
Whatever makes you feel comfortable for a girls’ night in!
Sweats, athleisure, jeans, leggings, casual clothes—it is all welcome. There is no need to dress up.
-
Every woman will be assigned to a table group for the evening.
Rather than asking everyone to arrive and choose a table with the people they already know, assigned tables give us an opportunity to intentionally bring women together across different ages, stages of life, and levels of connection at Grace City.
There will be women at each table who can help conversation get started and make sure everyone is included.
If you are newer or still getting connected, the registration form will also give you an opportunity to share information that can help us thoughtfully place you. If there is someone you already know who would make attending significantly more comfortable, let us know and we can put you at the same table!
-
Nope! Fall Welcome is for all women at Grace City, ages 18 and older.
One of the things we love about this event is bringing together women who might not normally cross paths on a Sunday—from women who have helped lead and serve at Grace City for years to someone attending her very first Ladies of Grace event.
At the same time, we are being especially intentional about making the evening easy to step into if you are newer or do not know many people yet. You do not need an established friend group to have a place here!
-
Yes—especially if she does not currently have a church community! Fall Welcome can be a great opportunity to invite a friend who is exploring faith, Grace City or looking for a church community to call home.
-
We would love to help with that!
On the registration form, we asked a few questions about how connected you currently feel at Grace City. If you are newer or still getting connected, you will have the option to tell us if connecting with someone before Fall Welcome would make attending easier.
That could be as simple as meeting someone after a Sunday service, exchanging a text or phone call, or meeting up to grab coffee.
It is completely optional. We simply want to remove as many barriers as possible between wanting to come and actually walking through the doors.
-
While we hope you are able to enjoy the full evening, we understand that life and schedules do not always cooperate!
If you know you will need to arrive late or leave early, please note your approximate arrival or departure time on the registration form. This will help us plan table groups and food accordingly.
Most importantly, do not let arriving late or leaving early keep you from coming. Our doors are open, and we would much rather have you join us for part of the evening than miss it altogether.
-
Yes! This is not just snacks and dessert—a full dinner is part of the evening.
Your registration also covers drinks, desserts, and Girls’ Night activities.
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you register so our team can plan accordingly.
-
The actual cost of the evening is $20 per person, so that is the suggested cost for each woman attending. But we want Fall Welcome to be accessible to everyone, regardless of what you are able to pay.
Think of the suggested cost as a simple pay-what-you-can: if $20 works for you, great! If you need to pay less, choose the amount that works for your situation. And if you are able to give a little more, your additional contribution helps cover the difference for another woman who may need to pay less.
Everyone receives the same dinner and full event experience regardless of the amount contributed!
