“You were designed to live out your faith with other people. An important part of walking out your spiritual growth is walking with others on a similar journey. ”
Ekklesia [ekk-luh-see-yuh] is the Greek word meaning "church" and it is what we call our small groups. Ekklesias are the place where a crowd on Sunday becomes a tight knit community - the space where you can cultivate strong, healthy, thriving relationships with both God and others. They are imperative to a flourishing life as a follower of Jesus. And we are strong advocates of anyone who considers Grace City to be their home, to pursue truth and community both on Sunday mornings and in a small group. Ekklesias follow the academic calendar year, meaning they run Fall, Winter, and Spring for 8-weeks.
We have a variety of Ekklesias that you could join, including: multi-generational, shared interests, or similar life stages. Whichever group you choose to be a part of, they all have these things in common: they are groups of people who meet in homes all around the surrounding areas, that come together each week to share a meal, a mission, and life together. So if you’re looking for community, want to dive deeper into living life with other people at Grace City, or are still wrestling through what it looks like to follow Jesus, we would love for you to join one of our Ekklesias.
