Here at Grace City, we like to begin each new year by setting aside a week to pursue the Lord and to refocus our minds and hearts on His truth. We fast by giving up something that is important to us- like food, social media, or coffee and we swap out the time we usually spend on that with dedicated times of prayer and scripture reading.

We know that fasting might be a new concept for you, and we want to support you as much as we can, so we provide an amazing Fasting Guide which explains what fasting is, how to best prepare for it, and also includes some daily devotionals and scripture readings to help encourage you throughout the week. Printed copies will be available at the church building and a digital copy is available here.

Prayer times for Monday, Jan. 8th - Thursday, Jan. 11th:

• 7am-7:30am - The sanctuary will be available for a time of unstructured prayer on your own before you start your day of work/school

• 12:15pm-12:45pm - The sanctuary will be available for a time of unstructured prayer on your own during your lunch break

• 5:15pm-6:15pm - Join us for a time of worship and guided corporate prayer as we gather together to pray as a church and seek the Lord.

Friday, January 12th - Worship night at 7pm

• Join us as we break the fast together and end the week with a corporate time of praise, prayer, and communion on Friday, January 12th at 7pm. 

• Please note, there is no prayer meeting before the worship night at 7pm.
