You were designed with God-given purpose and the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. When these two truths are realized, it helps lead us to the life abundant Jesus promised in John 10:10.
GC Connect is three-step process that guides you down the path of seeing your skills, gifts, and talents uncovered and your God-given purpose realized, so that you can go and make a difference in the lives of others.

Each step in GC Connect is held on Sundays and lasts just one hour.

GC Connect is taught in the Fireside Room, which is adjacent to the sanctuary where church services are held.

Yes. Food and childcare are offered during each class.

Yes, each step in GC Connect is designed to be taken in order. Each step leads into the next, and completion of the previous step is a prerequisite for the next step’s RSVP.

Unfortunately, steps cannot be taken out of order. However, GC Connect is offered 1-2 times per quarter, so if you’re unable to attend a class, that same class will likely be offered within the next few weeks.

During each hour-long class, we’ll be working through the GC Connect handbook which includes a mix of teaching and in-class discussion. You’ll get to know church staff and elders, in addition to others in the class. Additionally, you’ll have opportunities to sign up for church membership, take a personality and spiritual gifts test, and select a servant team to join based on your skills, talents, and interests.
STEP ONE
EXPLORE GRACE CITY.

New to Grace City or looking to take a next step? Step One of GC Connect is for you. You’ll get to meet the pastor, our church staff, and many others who are relatively new, just like you! In this 60-minute class, you’ll learn about the central role of Jesus in the human story. You’ll also hear about Grace City’s mission, context, and culture, and who God has called us to be as a church to be. Food and childcare are provided.
STEP TWO
DISCOVER YOUR DESIGN.
Next offered: Sunday, 4/14 & 5/12
In Step Two, you’ll dive into the details of your personality, identify your spiritual gifts, and learn about how your design reveals God-given purpose in life and best fit in ministry. Class length is 60 minutes. Food and childcare are provided.
STEP THREE
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Next offered: Sunday, 4/21 & 5/19
In the third and final step of GC Connect, you’ll connect to the opportunities available within Grace City’s servant team for using your talents, gifts, and passions toward serving and making a difference in the church and community. We’ll end the class with outlining church membership and presenting you with an opportunity to join if you’d like. Class length is 60 minutes. Food and childcare are provided.
