About Grace City Church

Grace City has been making disciples in the Willamette Valley area since 1982. Lead Pastor, Seth Trimmer, has been faithfully leading Grace City since 2007.

A church for the campus & the community

We are filled, empowered, and sent by the Spirit to the Campus & the Community. This is our
stewardship and our privilege to build a church that integrates our ministry to both of these places.

Our Vision

We exist to make disciples who love God, one another, and the World.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

— Matthew 28:19-20

Our Story

Grace City Church began in January 1982 out of an on-campus outreach to Oregon State University. Since that time, we’ve grown significantly as a church and have a long history of seeing God move both in the Corvallis-Albany community as well as on the Oregon State campus. In 2007, Seth Trimmer became the lead pastor of Grace City after being reached on campus as a student in 2000. Pastor Seth holds a Doctor of Ministry from Multnomah University in Portland and a Master of Arts from Western Seminary.

Today, hundreds of people across the mid-valley area call Grace City home. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when you’re a part of a church family that loves God, loves one another, and is passionate about introducing others to the love of Jesus Christ.

Grace City is a member of the Every Nation family of churches.  Every Nation exists to plant Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation. You can find out more about Every Nation Churches and Ministries at everynation.org.

Our Beliefs

We believe…
The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe…
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe…
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe…
That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe…
In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe…
In the baptism with the Holy Spirit that enables the church for mission and empowers them with spiritual gifts.

We believe…
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of death.

We believe…
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also embrace and adopt the Nicene Creed and Apostles’ Creed
